Here is another amazing thing that human brain can do! One video that is slowly trending on the YouTube is that of a girl named Alyssa. The video shows Alyssa instantly reversing any word that was given to her by friends, saying it backwards!
Alyssa apparently is not the only one who can do this. Another video on the YouTube shows clips from a previous Tyra Banks show, featuring another backwards speaking young lady, named Julia. Julia is also able to say any and all words in a sentence backwards. But Julia had one FAIL though which wasn’t caught during the show. See if you can spot it, then write in the comments section.
According to ReverseSpeech.com, children start speaking backwards before they do forward. ReverseSpeech also claims that children start pronouncing simple words in reverse as early as 4 months old, and by 13 or 14 months they talk complex sentences in reverse. Site’s claims appear to be based on private studies accompanied by audio examples and informative links.
So there may be a science behind this whole phenomena, after all. Julia mentions in the Tyra Bank show that to her it’s like photographic memory. She was able to do this since an early age, not knowing it wasn’t a normal human capability.
