#1 – Ted Williams the Homeless voice talent
Ted Williams, better known as the “the homeless man with the golden voice”, became a voice sensation over night. Williams was discovered by a news crew on the side of a road in Columbus, Ohio. Apparently Mr. Williams has been through a few ups and downs during 2011. Williams has a beautiful voice, and he has been offered opportunities in TV and radio to put his talent to use. According to news source, the sudden fame and attention also brought Ted Williams some unwelcomed side effects. Apparently the emotional stress pushed Mr. Williams back into drinking. According to the Allaccess.com, in mid 2011 Mr. Williams, while intoxicated, signed a TV contract with terms not very beneficial to him (story here). Ted Williams has filed a lawsuit against parties involved in the contract. Also during the early part of 2011 he did have was booked by L.A. police after miss behaving due to excessive alcohol use. #2 – The Talking Twin Baby Brothers
With nearly 60 million hits on the YouTube, these twins are now semi-celebrities. Apparently there are 2 different videos of the twins engaged in what appears to be serious back and forth baby talk! You can watch Talking Twin Babies part 1 here, but part 2 is the one with most hits. Apparently the YouTube Partner Program injects ads into videos that have very high number of views, and then it shares revenue from those ads with the content creator. So with that one video alone, the twins’ parents probably already put aside enough money for their entire education!
#3 – Anchor Woman Receives Surprise On-Air Proposal
In late 2011, Jennifer Hudspeth, a South Dakota KDLT anchor, received a surprise on-air marriage proposal. As it appears, the whole studio crew was in on the surprise, trying to make it sound as one of the news stories. They had Jennifer to participate in introducing the news segment which was about a love story between 2 high school sweethearts. Nate Johnson made the marriage proposal in the middle of the news cast.
#4 – Chinese Male Chearleader Brings it in
There are no words to describe this one except that this guy really stole the spotlight from the rest of the all-female line-up!
#5 – The Amazing Dubsetp Dance
For those of use who don’t know what Dubstep dance is, Wiki says that the Dubstep dance is a genre of electronic dance music that was originated in south London, England. Marquese Scott recorded an amazing Dubstep dance performance that has so far earned him nearly 24 million views on Youtube. This one is hilarious. This YouTube video made these older couple an overnight sensation and they have their granddaughter to thank for that! The couple was trying to figure out how to operate the camera on their new laptop, and here is what happened…
#7 – Rebecca Black ‘Friday’ Music Video
This video went through a couple of ups and downs, with it being removed and then put back on the YouTube. The music video has so far earned this 14-year-old, from Anaheim Hills California, 16+ million hits on the YouTube. The viral music video titled ‘Friday’ is the very first song by Rebecca Black. According to her website, she has also recently released her second song titled “My Moment“. The second song has also received an amazing 36+ million hits on the YouTube. #8 -Ahmadinejad Thanks For US Drone
This one is not exactly viral, but it is funny! This video was aired on Jay Leno show after Iran captured a US Spy Drone flying over its air-space.

This video is just what it is. Amazingly it has received 57 million hits to this date. It’s just an animated neon square cat running through space and stars, with funny music in the background. Why it got 59+ million hits? I couldn’t figure that out – you decide!
